Islamabad (Muhammad Saleem ) — The Government of Pakistan has announced a reduction in petroleum product prices.
According to the new rates, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 5.66 per litre, while high-speed diesel has been cut by Rs. 1.39 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance stated that the revised prices will take effect from midnight tonight.
Economic analysts say the price adjustment comes in response to a recent decline in global oil prices, allowing the government to provide relief to consumers.
