RAWALPINDI – Pakistan were bowled out for 333 runs in their first innings against South Africa on the second day of the second and final Test match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Abdullah Shafique, Shan Masood, and Saud Shakeel each scored half-centuries, while Agha Salman contributed a solid 45 runs. South African spinner Keshav Maharaj delivered an exceptional performance, claiming seven wickets to dismantle Pakistan’s batting lineup.
Resuming the innings at 259 for five, Pakistan started the day with Saud Shakeel (42) and Agha Salman (10) at the crease. The duo added valuable runs, taking the team total past 300. However, at 316 runs, Agha Salman was trapped LBW by Maharaj after scoring 45, followed shortly by Saud Shakeel, who was dismissed by Aiden Markram for 66.
