According to the sources, the forces launched a search and sanitization operation in the area following reports of militant activity. Exchange of fire took place during the operation, resulting in the deaths and injuries.
Preliminary reports suggest that one of the killed militants was affiliated with the Afghan Taliban, while the identities of the others are being verified.
