The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has implemented the e-Filing Office Automation System (e-FOAS) under Punjab government directives to enhance administrative efficiency.
A training workshop organised by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) was inaugurated by FDA DG Muhammad Asif Chaudhry. Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, Director IT Yasir Ijaz Chatha, and Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin attended the session.
PITB officials Ashfaq Ali and Amar Iftikhar briefed participants on system operations and benefits.
DG Chaudhry said e-filing was essential to meet future administrative demands and improve workflow.
The session included guidance on correspondence, summaries, record management, and inter-departmental communication to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
