LAHORE — A five-member Chinese business delegation led by Patrick Zheng, CEO of Huizhou Honghai Industrial Development and Executive Vice President of Zhengjia International Group, visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to explore opportunities for joint ventures, B2B partnerships, and industrial collaboration in Pakistan.
During the meeting with LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol, the delegation discussed prospects for cooperation in industrial park development, vehicle manufacturing, and lithium battery production. Zheng expressed strong interest in building partnerships with Pakistani businesses in these sectors, citing the country’s growing potential in industrial and energy markets.
Welcoming the delegation, LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with China, describing the bilateral partnership as a key driver of industrial and infrastructure growth.
> “The LCCI is fully committed to facilitating business linkages, encouraging joint ventures, and expanding trade and investment between Pakistan and China,” Saigol said. “Such engagements play a vital role in promoting technology transfer, creating jobs, and enhancing industrial productivity.”
LCCI Vice President Khurram Lodhi highlighted that China remains Pakistan’s largest and most trusted business partner, noting the exceptional friendship between the two nations. He expressed optimism that the visit by Patrick Zheng and his team would lead to tangible cooperation in manufacturing, clean energy, and industrial development.
Executive Committee Members Iftikhar Ahmed and Amir Ali also attended the meeting. Both sides agreed to strengthen coordination and expand business-to-business (B2B) engagement to deepen Pakistan–China economic cooperation and investment partnerships.
