Johannesburg: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan led the Kingdom’s delegation at the G20 Summit, representing Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment to global economic stability and enhanced international cooperation.
Prince Faisal emphasized that Riyadh is focused on promoting investment across key sectors to support sustainable and inclusive growth, noting that the Kingdom continues to play an active role in strengthening the global economic system.
He urged G20 member states to boost coordination in order to tackle supply-chain disruptions, geopolitical tensions and rising financial risks, which he said pose threats to both developed and developing economies.
The Foreign Minister also underscored the importance of combating illicit financial flows, warning that such activities undermine global markets and hinder the economic prospects of vulnerable nations. Strengthened collective action, he added, is essential for building resilient financial systems and ensuring long-term stability.
