LAHORE: Khalid Masood Sandhu, President of the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), has issued a strong condemnation of the recent remarks made by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh about Sindh, calling the statement a “vicious threat” aimed at provoking regional tensions.
Sandhu said the remarks reflect the “deep frustration” of the Modi government following Pakistan’s successful Operation Bunyan Marsous, adding that India’s leadership is resorting to irresponsible rhetoric to distract from its internal and external challenges.
He asserted that the entire Pakistani nation stands united against such provocations. Reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to its territorial sovereignty, he said the armed forces remain fully prepared to defend “every inch” of national territory.
In a direct message to Rajnath Singh, Sandhu stated: “Sindh was, is, and will always remain part of Pakistan.”
He urged the international community to take notice of India’s continuous attempts to destabilize the region. Sandhu said Pakistan has repeatedly provided credible evidence to the global community regarding India’s involvement in terrorism and its efforts to create unrest in the region.
The PMML chief called for international intervention to discourage further escalation and protect regional peace.
