Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday said Pakistan is ready to welcome investment from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in sectors including renewable energy, artificial intelligence, fintech, agriculture, and minerals.

Addressing a ceremony celebrating the 54th National Day of the UAE, the Prime Minister said,
“The economic partnership between Pakistan and the UAE is a shining example. UAE is lending critical support to Pakistan’s stabilizing economy.”
He extended heartfelt congratulations to the leadership and people of the UAE, including President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, describing the UAE’s journey of progress as a source of inspiration.
The Prime Minister highlighted the enduring strategic partnership between the two countries, emphasizing the role of the 1.8 million Pakistanis living in the UAE, who contribute significantly to its economy and nation-building efforts.
He expressed the desire for deeper cooperation, greater prosperity, and lasting peace for Pakistan, the UAE, and the wider region.
In his remarks, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening ties with Pakistan in fields including economy, energy, and artificial intelligence, noting shared values and a mutual vision for regional peace and development.
The occasion was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, federal ministers, parliamentarians, diplomats, and citizens, and included a ceremonial cake-cutting by the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and UAE ambassador.
