LAHORE: JW SEZ Group and Shalimar Group officially announced the launch of Zalmi Developments on Monday, marking a strategic entry into Pakistan’s property sector with a vision to introduce global-standard urban innovation.
The launch was celebrated at an MoU signing event held on December 15, 2025, at The Nishat Hotel, Emporium, Lahore. This venture builds on the winning legacy of Peshawar Zalmi, extending its influence “from the cricket stadium to the skyline,” while committing to international construction standards and green technologies.
Zalmi Developments aims to challenge the status quo by focusing on major urban centers with mixed-use complexes and high-rise towers. The company outlined a roadmap to bring future-ready communities and global-standard urban innovation to Pakistan’s metropolitan hubs.
The broader vision includes expansion into international markets, such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with the collaboration of international planning experts. The venture plans to create an ecosystem of lifestyle assets across six key verticals:
1. Commercial Projects
2. Master-planned Housing Projects
3. Vertical Apartment Buildings
4. Hospitality Projects
5. Discovery & Recreational Projects
6. Investment-grade REIT Projects
Zalmi Developments will incorporate modular construction systems to enhance environmental performance and will operate under a centralized leadership model to ensure all projects meet strict corporate and quality benchmarks.
Company leadership emphasized their commitment to quality, innovation, and international ambition, signaling a new era of urban development in Pakistan.
