Region-Wide Police Operation Traces 38 Murder Cases in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD – Police in the Faisalabad region have made significant arrests in a coordinated crackdown targeting proclaimed offenders and individuals involved in serious crimes, according to authorities.
Under the supervision of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, police teams conducted intelligence-based operations across the region using modern investigative techniques to apprehend long-absconding suspects.
Major Arrests Announced
Following special directives from RPO Sukhera, police reported arresting proclaimed offenders wanted in 38 murder cases, 27 attempted murder cases, and nine other serious criminal cases traced across the region.
The operations involved targeted actions based on intelligence inputs, advanced technology, and coordinated strategies to locate criminals who had evaded arrest for extended periods.
Ongoing Commitment to Law Enforcement
RPO Sukhera emphasized that authorities would show no leniency toward those involved in grave crimes including murder, attempted murder, and what are described as “blind murder cases.”
“The protection of life and property of citizens is the top priority of the police,” the RPO stated, adding that Faisalabad Region Police remain fully committed to ensuring the rule of law.
The regional police chief commended the professional performance of police teams and directed them to continue effective and impartial operations against criminal elements going forward.
Operations against proclaimed offenders and absconders remain ongoing across the region.
