The event was held at the lawn in front of the UVAS Administration Block under the banner of the UVAS Business School.
The gala was inaugurated by UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr. Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I), alongside Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Professor Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani and Dean Faculty of Life Sciences and Business Management Professor Dr. Rana Muhammad Ayyub. Senior faculty members, including Director Institute of Microbiology Professor Dr. Amir Ghafoor Bajwa, Principal Officer City Campus Professor Dr. Mati-ur-Rehman Khan Niazi, Registrar Sajjad Hyder, as well as a large number of students and faculty members, were also in attendance.
Addressing the participants, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Younus said the primary objective of the Entrepreneurial Gala was to encourage students to develop entrepreneurial mindsets and empower them to establish their own businesses. He praised the students for their active participation and creativity, highlighting the wide range of innovative products and business ideas showcased during the event.
Student-led stalls featured projects spanning technology-based solutions, including QR code standees, digital business cards, a campus-based marketplace, a pet finder application, and an automatic pet food dispenser. Other ventures focused on food products such as mood tea, instant coffee syrup, panjeeri biscuits, and a chulha cart concept, as well as handicrafts, including tapestry bags, wool jewellery, and crochet items.
The Entrepreneurial Gala aimed to provide DEBM students with a practical platform to present their micro start-ups, innovative ideas, and business skills, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world entrepreneurship.
