SiriusXM has rehired Chris Cuomo to host a live weekday program.
The morning show titled Cuomo Mornings will air from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on SiriusXM’s POTUS channel. Cuomo is returning to SiriusXM after an earlier satellite radio show and podcast, Let’s Get After It, ended its weekday SiriusXM’s POTUS channel run in 2021 after he was terminated by CNN.
“I’m very excited to be back on the platform and to engage with callers every day. Let’s get after it,” Cuomo said in a statement on Tuesday. SiriusXM said Cuomo’s latest morning show will “focus on breaking down party lines and elevating honest, solutions-oriented conversations about the political, cultural, and social issues shaping Americans’ lives.”
Expected guests include James Carville, Bob Costas, Mark Cuban, former Senator Joe Manchin, Gov. Wes Moore and Senator Rand Paul. CNN parted ways with Cuomo and his Cuomo Prime Time show after he was investigated by a law firm for allegedly helping his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, as he faced accusations by multiple women for sexual harassment and unwanted touching.
Cuomo at the time admitted to being a “sounding board” for his brother, and for helping to respond to some of the allegations. Currently, he anchorsCUOMOon NewsNation after joining that TV news network in 2022.
Earlier in his career, Cuomo was a chief law and justice correspondent and anchor for ABC News, and worked as a correspondent and political analyst for Fox News Channel. He began his career as an attorney after graduating from Fordham School of Law.
