Punjab Moving Towards a New Digital Revolution: Maryam AurangzebCM Personally Presides Over Google AI Gemini Academy Workshop for Provincial Cabinet

LAHORE: Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb stated that Punjab is undergoing a major digital transformation under the direct leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The Chief Minister’s vision aims to establish Punjab as a global hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI), where modern technology plays a central role in governance, policy-making, and public service delivery.
She said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif personally presided over a special Google AI Gemini Academy training workshop for the provincial cabinet and senior government officers. The workshop focused on equipping officials to make data- and AI-driven decisions, enhance policy development, and strengthen monitoring systems—demonstrating the government’s commitment to integrating technology into practical governance rather than treating it as a mere slogan.
Maryam Aurangzeb highlighted that the Chief Minister is transforming traditional public service. Her vision of a Digital Punjab seeks to empower youth, increase transparency and efficiency in government systems, and enable AI-driven governance for the benefit of all citizens.
She further stated that this initiative marks the beginning of a new era of data-driven, smart, and proactive governance in Punjab, where decisions are guided by facts, evidence, and advanced technology.
Concluding her remarks, Maryam Aurangzeb said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is not only leading the province but is also emerging as an architect of Pakistan’s digital future, steering Punjab towards new heights of progress through modern technology.
