LAHORE: Punjab University (PU) has awarded PhD degrees to five scholars in various disciplines.
According to the university, the recipients include Fozia Hayat, daughter of Umar Hayat Khokhar, in Applied Psychology; Shahida Hussain, daughter of Ghulam Hussain, in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics; Maddasra Mahmood, daughter of Mahmood Ahmad, in Pakistan Studies; Abdulhamid Mpoza, son of Abdunoor Kakande, in Communication Studies; and Muhammad Naeem, son of Muhammad Bashir Ahmed, in Chemistry.
The degrees were awarded following the successful completion of all academic and research requirements.
