Pakistan has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), emphasizing that a peaceful resolution of this longstanding dispute in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions is indispensable for regional peace.
Speaking at a seminar organized at the Embassy of Pakistan in Berlin, Germany, on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, participants underscored Pakistan’s commitment to standing with Kashmiris in their struggle for self-determination.

The event featured messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan. Speakers highlighted the dire situation in occupied Kashmir and called upon the international community to play its role in achieving a peaceful solution in line with UN Security Council resolutions.

Prominent Kashmiri leaders Altaf Hussain Wani, Shamim Shawl, and Ali Raza Syed addressed the seminar via video messages, shedding light on the deteriorating conditions in the occupied valley. They revealed that Kashmiris continue to be systematically deprived of their fundamental rights, the demographic balance of the valley has been continuously altered since August 5, 2019, and Kashmiri voices are being silenced through organized but oppressive measures.
The leaders stressed that a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute according to UN Security Council resolutions is essential for regional and broader peace. They also expressed gratitude to the Pakistani people and government for their continued struggle for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

Ambassador of Pakistan Saqlain Syeda, in her address, reiterated Pakistan’s unshakeable moral, diplomatic, and political support for the people of occupied Kashmir. She emphasized that this support will continue until the Kashmiri people achieve their right to self-determination in accordance with their aspirations.

Following the seminar, a photo exhibition was organized at the embassy. Guests viewed photographs depicting the atrocities inflicted upon the defenseless people of occupied Kashmir and expressed their thoughts on their plight. They pledged to raise awareness about the Kashmir issue within their circles in Germany to garner public support and sympathy.
The seminar was attended by expatriates, Kashmiris, students, members of German civil society, and journalists, all united in their solidarity with the Kashmiri cause.
The event served as a powerful reminder of Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Kashmiri people’s legitimate struggle for their inalienable right to self-determination.
