ISLAMABAD: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the official commentary panel for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, featuring a diverse group of former international cricketers and renowned broadcasters from around the world.
Pakistan will be represented by four commentators in the panel — Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Bazid Khan and Ramiz Raja — who will provide expert analysis and commentary throughout the tournament.
The panel also includes prominent names such as Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, Ian Bishop, Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa and Carlos Brathwaite.
Former cricketing greats Sunil Gavaskar, Eoin Morgan, Matthew Hayden, Dale Steyn and Shaun Pollock will also be part of the World Cup commentary team.
South Africa’s Temba Bavuma and Sri Lanka’s Angelo Mathews are set to make their commentary debuts at a T20 World Cup.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 officially gets underway on Thursday, with Pakistan scheduled to play their opening match against the Netherlands.
