Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has hailed Pakistan Air Force’s strikes against militant hideouts in Afghanistan, declaring that Pakistan has sent an unambiguous message to those plotting against the country.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the minister stated that the Pakistan Air Force successfully targeted strongholds of the Fitna-al-Khawarij group, sending a clear signal that Pakistan is not weak but has been strengthened by the blood of its martyrs. (ITV News)
Chaudhry emphasized that the operation was not merely a military action — it was a direct response to every mother who sacrificed her son in service of the homeland, and a defence of every child who dreamed of a safe Pakistan. (Express News)
The minister also warned adversaries, saying Pakistan seeks peace but will never compromise on the integrity of its territory, people, or national honour. (ITV News)
The strikes come in the backdrop of a series of suicide bombings in Pakistan, including attacks on an imambargah in Islamabad, and incidents in Bajaur and Bannu during the holy month of Ramadan. Pakistan asserts it has concrete evidence that these terrorist activities were carried out by the Khawarij at the direction of their leadership based inside Afghanistan. (Middle East Monitor)
Afghanistan has condemned the strikes as a violation of its sovereignty, with the Afghan Ministry of Defence warning that a response would follow “according to account.” The strikes reportedly targeted seven militant camps and facilities along the Pak-Afghan border. (Middle East Monitor)
