LAHORE: Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab Dr. Ehsan Bhutta has announced that officials serving for more than three years on the same post will be transferred in phases in line with government policy. He emphasized that no individual is indispensable and that administrative reforms will be carried out strictly on merit.
Dr. Bhutta stated that under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the government is focusing on institutional strengthening, improved service delivery, and employee welfare, while ensuring transparency and accountability within the department.
Addressing employees from Data Darbar, Bibi Pak Daman, Data Darbar Hospital, Lahore Zone (West), Lahore Zone (East), and other wings, he warned that strict action would be taken against anyone prioritizing personal interests over departmental integrity — particularly in matters related to shrine cash box revenues. He noted that monitoring teams have significantly increased revenues after identifying discrepancies in financial reports.
The Chief Administrator appreciated employees for supporting transparent accountability measures. He also welcomed the extension of contracts for ten staff members, payment of dues to families of deceased employees, approval of a 20 percent Auqaf allowance, and the decision of the Punjab Auqaf Board to seek provincial deputation for key Grade-18 positions, including Director Finance.
Dr. Bhutta reaffirmed that his office doors remain open to all employees committed to honesty, transparency, and institutional progress.
