LAHORE: Deputy Superintendent of Police Khalid Mehmood paid a farewell visit to Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem at the Central Police Office on the occasion of his retirement from the police service.
During the meeting, the IG Punjab presented an honorary shield, appreciation letter and a cash award to DSP Khalid Mehmood in recognition of his dedicated and outstanding services to the department.
On the occasion, DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana also presented an honorary shield and bouquet to the retiring officer.
Senior officers congratulated Khalid Mehmood on completing his service with honour and appreciated his professional contributions, while extending best wishes for his future life.
Speaking on the occasion, IG Punjab Abdul Kareem said that retired officers and personnel of Punjab Police remain valuable assets of the department, adding that their services and sacrifices will always be remembered.
He noted that Khalid Mehmood carried out his professional responsibilities with dedication, honesty and commitment, earning respect within the police force.
DSP Khalid Mehmood, in his remarks, thanked the IG Punjab and other senior officers for their guidance and support throughout his career, as well as for the honour extended to him on his retirement.
He said that the time he spent serving in the police department would always remain a matter of pride for him.
