LAHORE: Abdul Kareem, Inspector General of Police Punjab, met with police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office. During the meeting, the IG Punjab listened to the concerns and issues faced by police personnel and their families and issued directives to the relevant officers for immediate relief and action.
According to details, on the request of Lady Ghazi Constable Rozina Yasmeen for medical financial assistance, the IG Punjab directed the DIG Welfare and Finance to provide relief. On the scholarship request submitted by the widow of martyred Constable Iftikhar Ahmad for her children, the DIG Welfare and Finance was instructed to place the matter under consideration.
On the request of ASI Muhammad Shafi for medical financial assistance, necessary instructions were issued to the DIG Welfare and Finance. On the transfer request of Lady Junior Clerk Saba Parveen, the DIG SPU was directed to consider the application. On the application of retired Sub-Inspector Muhammad Akram regarding legal proceedings, the DPO Kasur was instructed to take the necessary action. On the request of retired Head Constable Muhammad Ashfaq for medical financial assistance, the DIG Welfare and Finance was directed to provide immediate relief.
IG Punjab Abdul Kareem also issued orders on several other applications related to discipline, administration, promotions, and welfare matters concerning police employees and retirees.
