A Pakistan Army MI-17 helicopter crashed near Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday due to a technical malfunction, killing all crew members on board, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.
The military’s media wing stated that the helicopter suffered a technical failure mid-flight, resulting in the fatal crash. The identities of the martyred crew members and the exact number of casualties are expected to be released in an official statement shortly.
