Summer House Earns First Emmy Nomination

Summer House is officially Emmy nominated.

The buzzy Bravo reality series earned its first nod for unstructured reality program as the slate of 2026 Emmy nominees were unveiled on Wednesday. The Emmy nomination comes after the series’ 10th season, which took off in ratings and virility following a much-talked about relationship scandal.

Summer House is nominated alongside America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Love on the Spectrum, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked and Welcome to Wrexham in the reality program category.

Summer House took over the pop cultural zeitgeist earlier this spring when co-stars West Wilson and Amanda Batula confirmed they were an item; the romance came as a shock, as Batula used to be close friends with co-star Ciara Miller, whom Wilson also previously dated. Batula herself announced her split from her husband, co-star Kyle Cooke, in January, making matters messier. Both Wilson and Batula have since left the show, as the season 11 cast continues to come into focus.

The controversy made for a dramatic three-part reunion, where Wilson and Batula came face-to-face with their cast for the first time. Post-reunion, Bravo aired a special bonus episode with sit-downs filmed after the reunion taping between Batula and Linsday Hubbard; Cooke and Wilson; and Miller and Meija Moreno, the latter being Wilson’s ex-girlfriend whom he was dating when his romance with Batula took off.

Production on season 11 of Summer House kicks off in early July, though Bravo has not revealed its full plans for the upcoming installment. With Wilson and Batula’s exits, THR understands that Cooke, Hubbard and Carl Radke are most likely to return to the show. Although the main question for Summer House fans is if Miller will come back, and in what capacity.

Batula, Cooke and Hubbard are all currently starring on the Summer House spinoff In The City, which spotlights their lives living in New York City. Season one airs Tuesdays on Bravo, and has already filmed its first reunion, to air after the installment finishes airing.

Miller is currently finishing out hosting Love Island USA‘s companion series Aftersun, and will later this fall compete on season 35 of Dancing With the Stars.

Top Chef has been a consistent nominee in the reality competition program category for Bravo since 2007. Other shows including Vanderpump Rules and Below Deck Down Under have earned surprise nods in the unstructured reality program category in recent years, with Summer House joining those ranks.
