LAHORE: Leaders Network Pakistan, in collaboration with Business Line—an SAP Partner and leading technology and outsourcing company—hosted the inaugural Global Outlook Exchange, bringing together senior representatives from business, government, technology, diplomacy and the corporate sector to discuss Pakistan’s economic outlook and future growth opportunities.
Powered by Business Line, the exclusive forum featured a keynote address by Dr. Salman Ahmed, Global Head of Macro & Strategic Asset Allocation at Fidelity International. He shared insights on the global economic landscape, emerging market trends and the structural reforms required for Pakistan to achieve sustainable long-term economic growth.
Addressing the participants, U.S. Consul General in Lahore, Mr. Stetson Sanders, reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to strengthening economic ties with Pakistan.
“The United States values its longstanding economic partnership with Pakistan, and strengthening our trade and business ties remains an important part of that relationship. Initiatives such as the SelectUSA Investment Summit provide valuable opportunities to deepen commercial engagement, encourage investment and build stronger connections between businesses in both countries,” he said.
The event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue among policymakers, business leaders and international stakeholders on enhancing Pakistan’s competitiveness, attracting foreign investment and promoting sustainable economic development through strategic reforms and stronger global partnerships.
