LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), describing the birth of Khatam-un-Nabiyyin, Rahmat-ul-Aalameen, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), as the greatest blessing of Allah Almighty for all humanity.
In his special message, the Speaker said the arrival of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) brought humanity out of the darkness of ignorance, oppression and injustice and showed the world the path of knowledge, justice, peace, love and service to humanity.
He said the Seerat-e-Tayyaba of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a shining beacon of guidance, peace, love and success in every sphere of life. His teachings provided humanity with a comprehensive lesson of peace, tolerance, brotherhood, equality, justice, fairness and respect for human rights.
Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan said the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a complete code of life not only for Muslims but for all humanity. He stressed that the solution to the challenges facing individuals, communities and the Muslim Ummah lies in following the teachings and noble example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
He said Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) provides an opportunity to renew our faith and reaffirm our commitment to shaping our lives according to the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He urged people to promote love, tolerance, goodwill, brotherhood and service to humanity through both words and actions.
The Speaker said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) laid the foundation of a society based on justice, equality, brotherhood and respect for humanity. He called upon people to incorporate these teachings into their practical lives and work toward building a society where peace, love, tolerance and mutual respect prevail.
He further said that for the development, prosperity and stability of Pakistan, all differences should be set aside in favour of unity, national solidarity and brotherhood. Every individual, he added, must fulfil their responsibilities with honesty and sincerity to build a strong, peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.
Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan prayed that Allah Almighty grant everyone the ability to sincerely follow the blessed life and noble example of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), fill hearts with love and brotherhood, and make Pakistan a cradle of peace, unity, progress and prosperity. Ameen.
