Iran’s armed forces have claimed retaliatory strikes on US military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Iraq, in response to American bombing raids across multiple Iranian sites. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said missiles and drones targeted the US command headquarters at Kuwait’s Ali Al Salem Air Base, the Marine garrison at Camp Titin in Jordan, US positions in Erbil, Iraq, and bases in Bahrain, claiming multiple casualties.
Jordan’s armed forces said their air defense system intercepted 13 ballistic missiles. Iranian media reported that Tuesday’s US strikes killed 19 people, with explosions reported in Kuhestak, Konarak, Bandar Abbas, Jask, Assaluyeh, Ahvaz, and Qeshm Island.
Military spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaghari said Iran would continue operations “until the enemy is remorseful.” Meanwhile, US President Trump ruled out any immediate push for talks, saying he preferred Washington’s current position — claiming near-total control of the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz while Iran’s economy nears collapse. The renewed exchange of fire has dimmed hopes of containing the escalation.
