Glasgow, Scotland – Pakistani police officer SP Ayesha Butt has brought pride to the nation by winning the Excellence in Performance Award 2025 at the 62nd Annual Conference of the International Association of Women Police (IAWP), held in Glasgow.
According to a spokesperson of Punjab Police, the award was presented by IAWP President Julia Jager in recognition of Ayesha Butt’s outstanding contributions to traffic safety policing and strengthening community-police relations.
More than 300 female police officers from over 40 countries competed for awards in different categories this year.
Currently serving as the City Traffic Officer in Gujranwala, SP Ayesha Butt was selected for her exceptional performance and services that created a meaningful impact in society.
The IAWP award is presented annually to one female officer from around the world for her extraordinary professional achievements and dedication to public service.
