Women Journalists Congratulate National Women Journalists Forum President

LAHORE: A prestigious ceremony was held in Lahore in honor of senior journalist and President of the National Women Journalists Forum, Farzana Chaudhry, following her receipt of a gold medal in recognition of her outstanding journalistic performance and services.

The Idara-e-Farogh-e-Taleem (Institute for the Promotion of Education) conferred the gold medal on Farzana Chaudhry. The award was presented by Chairman Tayyab Wark and Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali.

To celebrate the achievement, the Executive Body of the National Women Journalists Forum organized a special ceremony in her honor.

A large number of senior journalists and office-bearers of the forum attended the event and congratulated Farzana Chaudhry on receiving the gold medal.

Those present included National Women Journalists Forum General Secretary Darakhshanda Alamdar, Vice President Mubashra Sultan, senior journalists Sadia Salahuddin and Rafia Naheed Ikram, Lahore Press Club Governing Body member Rabia Azmat, Dr. Saima Iqbal, Lubna Khan, Iqra Mughal, Rehana Usmani, Sofia Yazdani, Information Secretary Nabila Akbar, Aini Bajwa, Afia Jahangir and Ujala Riaz, among others.

The participants expressed their heartfelt congratulations to Farzana Chaudhry and appreciated her contributions to journalism and her services to women journalists.

Members of the forum also expressed their affection and appreciation by presenting her with beautiful gifts during the ceremony.

The participants said the recognition was a source of encouragement and reflected the value of professional commitment and services in the field of journalism.
