Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office media wing on Monday, Sharif said Sheikh Ahmed devoted his entire life, with honour and dignity, to serving Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. He said Pakistan pays tribute to his valuable services and remembers him with respect.
The prime minister conveyed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Al Maktoum family and the people of the UAE. He prayed that God grant the deceased a high place in paradise and give the bereaved family the strength to bear the loss with patience and fortitude.
