LAHORE: Devsinc, one of Pakistan’s leading software development and IT services companies, hosted a delegation from the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Lahore, as part of the government institution’s 47th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC).

Led by CEO Usman Asif, Devsinc hosted the delegation at its Global Delivery Centre in Lahore. The visit brought together 31 senior government officers of BS-18 grade, representing federal and provincial government departments and public-sector organizations, along with four NIPA faculty members.

The MCMC is a mandatory prerequisite for the participating officers’ promotion to BS-19.

The visit was organized under the training theme “IT Industry in Pakistan: Current Status, Potential, Challenges and Future Prospects.” During the engagement, Devsinc provided the delegation with a comprehensive briefing on the current state of Pakistan’s technology sector, its growth potential, challenges and future prospects.

The interaction also provided the visiting officers with an opportunity to gain a practical understanding of the country’s rapidly evolving IT industry and the issues faced by technology companies operating in Pakistan.

The engagement helped strengthen ties between the public sector and Pakistan’s growing technology industry, while providing senior government officials with a ground-level perspective on the sector’s needs and potential.

The visit was particularly relevant for the participating officers as they progress into senior administrative positions where they may contribute to policymaking and decisions affecting the future development of Pakistan’s technology and IT sector.
