Turkey: President Erdoğan’s UN Addresses Published in Book Form in Three Languages

Ankara — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s address to the 81st UN General Assembly has been published in book form in Turkish, English and Arabic. Released Wednesday by the Turkish Presidency, the book compiles Erdoğan’s messages on Gaza, regional conflicts, the Russia-Ukraine war and alleged flaws in the current international system, presented under the slogan “A Fairer World Is Possible.”
The address, delivered in New York on Tuesday, focused heavily on Gaza and called for broader international action, while arguing that the existing global order needs reform. Erdoğan also repeated his long-standing call to restructure the UN Security Council, summed up in his principle that “the world is bigger than five.”
According to the Presidency, the book also covers the Iran-related conflict, developments in Lebanon and the Russia-Ukraine war, alongside broader themes such as terrorism, the climate crisis and artificial intelligence. The Presidency described the publication as a way to reach international audiences and future generations.
The release comes as world leaders gather in New York for the General Assembly, with Gaza, Ukraine and the wider Middle East dominating the global agenda. The book closes with a poem by renowned Turkish poet Sezai Karakoç, whose verses evoke themes of truth, history and accountability.
