MS Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain Warns of Strict Action Against Negligence; No Compromise on Cleanliness and Discipline

LAHORE: The administration of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has taken strict action against negligence, lack of interest in official matters and dereliction of duty. Four officials have been suspended with immediate effect, a show-cause notice has been issued to the Sanitary Inspector, and written explanations have been sought from three additional employees.

AMS (Emergency) Dr. Sinaan Mustafa has been replaced, while Dr. Ambreen Muqaddas has been directed to assume charge as AMS Emergency (Evening). MS LGH Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain has issued a formal notification in this regard.

Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain directed all administrative doctors to strengthen and improve the monitoring of hospital affairs to ensure the uninterrupted provision of medical facilities to patients.

He made it clear that negligence and carelessness in the performance of official duties would not be tolerated under any circumstances and that discipline must be maintained at all costs.

The MS further instructed the administrative focal-person doctors of all departments that, henceforth, sanitary staff reporting for duty without the prescribed uniform would be marked absent.

He also directed the concerned doctors to maintain strict oversight of cleanliness arrangements and staff attendance to ensure a clean, hygienic and ideal environment for patients.

Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain emphasized that there would be no compromise on cleanliness, security or discipline at Lahore General Hospital.
