Islamabad — Pakistani TikToker Samia Hijab on Monday told a district and sessions court that she had reached a settlement with accused Hassan Zahid and no longer wished to pursue her kidnapping and intimidation case.
During the hearing, Judge Amir Zia asked Hijab whether the matter had been resolved, to which she replied, “Yes, our matter has been settled.” She further stated that she had no objection to Zahid being granted bail or acquitted.
Following her statement, the court approved Zahid’s bail against surety bonds worth 20,000 rupees each. Zahid had previously faced two cases registered against him at Shalimar Police Station in Islamabad.
The development effectively brings an end to the case, which had drawn attention after Hijab alleged abduction and threats against her.
