Rawalpindi – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has declined to reveal who is operating his X (formerly Twitter) account, during an inquiry conducted by the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crimes Wing inside Adiala Jail.
According to sources, an FIA team comprising three officials, led by Ayaz Khan, visited the prison to question Khan after state authorities alleged that anti-state content had been posted from his account.
The team reportedly asked who manages the account, where it is being operated from, and whether Khan is aware of the nature of the content being published. Imran Khan, however, refused to share details, stating: “I will not disclose who is using my X account.”
Sources further said that Khan demanded a written questionnaire and insisted that any replies would only be provided in the presence of his legal team. The FIA team remained at the jail for over an hour.
The investigation into the account activity is ongoing.
