Johannesburg — South African batter Quinton de Kock has reversed his retirement from One Day Internationals and has been included in the squad for the upcoming series against Pakistan.
Cricket South Africa announced squads for the Test, ODI, and T20 formats. Test captain Temba Bavuma has been ruled out of the series due to a calf injury, with Aiden Markram set to lead the side.
Keshav Maharaj has been included only for the second Test as he continues his rehabilitation, while Matthew Breetzke will serve as interim ODI captain.
The tour will feature two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20 matches. The South African Test squad will depart for Pakistan on 7 October, with training sessions scheduled in Pretoria on 5 and 6 October before departure.
