Pakistan Islamabad: Report By M.Salim Jutt). The Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) organized a seminar titled “Marka-e-Haq”, along with Independence Day celebrations and a solidarity walk to express unwavering support for Pakistan’s Armed Forces.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, said the people of Pakistan will never compromise on national sovereignty and will continue unconditional support for the Armed Forces in defense of the motherland. He described “Ma’arka-e-Haq” as a continuation of the ideological journey that began in 1947, stressing that Pakistan’s survival and honor rest on both geography and ideology.
He praised the Armed Forces for thwarting Indian aggression under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, calling it not just a military success but the triumph of Pakistan’s founding ideology. The Minister also lauded WWF’s services in education, healthcare, and welfare for industrial workers.
WWF Secretary Zulfiqar Ahmad, in his welcome address, recalled Pakistan’s history of sacrifices and said it is the nation’s duty to pursue economic, educational, and social progress. He reaffirmed WWF’s mission to ensure every worker’s child receives education, no family is left without healthcare, and all industrial workers live with dignity.
The ceremony featured national songs, tableaus, and speeches by students of WWF institutions. Awards and shields were distributed among students by the Federal Minister.

Brigadier Shehzad Munir, DG NUML, reaffirmed the Armed Forces’ readiness to defend the country.

WWF Achievements:
Over 83,462 houses and flats built for workers.
1,647 scholarships awarded to doctors and engineers.
211,622 marriage grants given to workers’ daughters.
330,936 students benefited from scholarships.
30,739 widows received death grants.
85 persons sponsored annually for Hajj.
The event concluded with participants reaffirming that industrial workers are the true backbone of national progress, and their prosperity is essential for Pakistan’s strength.
