Prominent YouTuber Scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza Arrested in Pakistan

Jhelum, Pakistan – Prominent Pakistani YouTuber and religious scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza has been arrested by police under the Maintenance of Public Order (3MPO) law, officials confirmed on Sunday.

According to police, Mirza was taken into custody following complaints filed by several religious groups who accused him of making controversial religious statements. After his arrest, he was transferred to jail.

Sources said officers from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency raided his academy in the Machine Mohalla area of Jhelum and sealed the premises. The arrest was carried out on the orders of Deputy Commissioner Jhelum, Syed Maisam Abbas, with authorities stating that the move was aimed at maintaining public order.

Earlier in the day, delegations of religious scholars had met with local administration officials and demanded Mirza’s arrest.
