Islamabad: Religious gatherings across Pakistan commemorated the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, highlighting 1,500 years of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) message of mercy, love, and tolerance.
Speakers at the events stressed that devotion to the Prophet remains deeply rooted in the hearts of Muslims and can never fade. They urged believers to align their lives with the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, noting that true love for the Prophet must be reflected in daily actions and character.
The gatherings featured recitations of Durood (salutations), including the Ibrahimic prayer, with participants expressing that tongues blessed with the remembrance of the Prophet are truly fortunate.
Prayers were offered for the Muslim Ummah to embody the Prophet’s example and uphold values of compassion, sincerity, and brotherhood in today’s world.
