After Last Year’s Wild Success, ‘Wicked’ and Voluspa Reteam on ‘Wicked: For Good’ Fragrance Collection (Exclusive)

Voluspa is back as the official home fragrance partner of Wicked: For Good, with two scent profiles entirely unique to its new collection.

The sustainable, handcrafted fragrance brand had no problem standing out amongst the dozens and dozens of Wicked collaborations that took over the internet in 2024. On the heels of last year’s partnership that “exceeded every expectation,” according to Voluspa President and Co-founder Troy Arntsen, the duo returns with its Voluspa x Wicked: For Good Collection, available to shop online beginning Oct. 1.

Last year’s fragrances — Bewitching Banyan Forest for Elphaba and Perfectly Pink Yuzu for Glinda —are completely reimagined for part two: layered with unexpected notes that serve as extensions of the film’s layered leading ladies.

First off, Elphaba’s Palo Santo Spells is in the family of warm, spiced fragrances, with notes of crushed clove, palo santo, smoldering incense and mountain oak moss. Instead of last year’s green, Elphaba’s Wicked: For Good fragrance is housed in an assortment of rich dark purple, nearly-black, vessels.

Glinda’s Cherry Blossom Bubble is in the fruity/floral fragrance family, with notes of coconut water, cherry blossom, peony petals and soft vanilla​. Instead of last year’s pink, Glinda’s Wicked: For Good fragrance is housed in an assortment of playful periwinkle vessels.

“We think of our vessels as physical expressions of the fragrances they hold,” explains Arntsen. “ForWicked: For Good, we reimagined the colorways of the glass vessels inspired by the perfume bottles seen in the film to reflect Glinda and Elphaba’s evolution — creating candles and diffusers that feel keepsake-worthy, and tied to the story.”

Each scent comes in two formats: candle and reed diffuser. Candles are offered in two varieties: an 8.5-ounce glass vessel that has a burn time of 60 hours and a four-ounce tin container that has a burn time of about 25 hours. The reed diffusers come in a set of 10 high-absorbency sticks, housed in a glass bottle with a princess-cut diamond-shaped opening. They remain potent for about four to six months.

Voluspa is also offering two candle duos: the Boxed Candle Bundle ($98) and the Mini Tin Gift Set ($34). The former includes both 8.5-ounce Wicked: For Good glass candles and the latter includes both Wicked: For Good tinned candles.
