There’s something special that happens when Kendra Scott’s signature sparkle meets Dolly Parton’s larger-than-life shine. Both women built empires on optimism, heart and a healthy dose of sequins — and their third collaboration, Change It!, is proof that reinvention can be just as glamorous as the original.
Inspired by Parton’s song “Change It” from 9 to 5: The Musical, the collection takes its cue from one of her sharpest truths: “Nothin’s gonna change if you don’t change it.” It’s a lyric that feels like Parton in a nutshell — hopeful, grounded and just a little rebellious.
The collection carries forward the butterfly motif, a symbol of transformation that has become central to Parton and Scott’s collaborations. From delicate butterfly huggies and the signature Elisa pendant —Kendra Scott’s patented bestseller — to statement necklaces and tassel lariats, each piece serves as a graceful reminder that growth, reinvention and self-expression are always within reach.

The Kendra Scott x Dolly Parton partnership has a history of drawing inspiration from Parton’s most beloved hits. Their first collection, released last November, celebrated the 1974 song “Love Is Like a Butterfly,” while the second collection from June of this year, offered vintage-inspired accessories inspired by “I Will Always Love You”, featuring hearts, butterflies and music notes. Change It! carries these motifs forward, evolving them into a collection that’s both playful and empowering.
9 to 5: The Musical, the inspiration for this latest collaboration, is based on the 1980 film starring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Featuring music and lyrics by Parton herself, the musical tells the story of three women who, fed up with their sexist boss, band together to turn the tables — celebrating friendship, empowerment and the courage to create change.
