Abbas, who entertained audiences for more than four decades, was celebrated for his performances in Urdu and Pashto dramas aired on Pakistan Television (PTV). He also showcased his talent in numerous radio dramas for Radio Pakistan.
In recognition of his artistic contributions, Abbas was awarded the Presidential Pride of Performance, along with several other honors for his services to the performing arts.
