ISLAMABAD — Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced that internet services across the country may experience disruptions or slow connectivity for up to 18 hours on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, due to scheduled maintenance work.
In an official statement, PTCL said the maintenance activity involves repairing a faulty repeater in one of its submarine cables. The work is expected to begin around 11:00 a.m. (Pakistan Standard Time) and may continue until the early hours of the following day.
The company added that while necessary measures are being taken to minimize the impact, customers may still experience reduced speed or temporary service interruptions. “We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate our customers’ understanding,” the statement said.
