At the start of trading, the KSE-100 Index surged by 3,743 points, reaching 162,187 points, marking a significant turnaround in market sentiment.
Just a day earlier, the market had suffered a sharp downturn, with the index plunging by over 5,000 points, resulting in substantial financial losses for investors.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani rupee also recorded a marginal gain. According to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar fell by 6 paisas in the interbank market, trading at Rs281.10.
