Lahore – Punjab Police have reportedly recovered a huge amount of cash, gold, and foreign currency during a raid at the residence of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Allama Saad Rizvi in Lahore.
According to the police spokesperson, the operation led to the recovery of PKR 144.4 million in local currency, along with gold worth over PKR 63.4 million, weighing approximately 1,922 grams.
Authorities further revealed that foreign currency from several countries — including the United Kingdom, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and India — was also seized. The total value of the foreign currency exceeded PKR 2.5 million, with INR 50,000 among the recovered notes.
Police officials confirmed that all the seized cash and valuables have been taken into custody, while an investigation has been launched to determine the origin of the recovered assets.
