COAS says Pakistan seeks regional peace, but any violation of its territorial integrity will face decisive response

Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that ‘all necessary measures’ are being taken against Indian-sponsored proxies — Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khawarij — involved in propagating anti-people and anti-development agendas with the malicious intent to perpetrate violence in Balochistan.
“All necessary actions are being taken to chase these terrorists and rid the province of this menace,” reaffirmed the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) as he interacted with participants of the 17th National Workshop Balochistan, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS reiterated that Pakistan seeks regional peace and stability; however, any violation of its territorial integrity, whether direct or indirect, will be met with a firm and decisive response to safeguard the lives and well-being of its citizens.
During the interaction, Field Marshal Munir said, Balochistan is the pride of Pakistan, endowed with vibrant, resilient, and patriotic people who represent the true wealth of the province.

The ISPR added that the army chief highlighted federal and provincial government initiatives aimed at uplifting Balochistan’s socio-economic landscape through a people-centric approach. He emphasised the importance of realising the province’s immense economic potential for the benefit of its people.
The COAS also acknowledged the constructive role of civil society, particularly in engaging and empowering youth, and underscored their pivotal role in sustainable development. He said their active participation is crucial to counter vested political agendas and ensure long-term prosperity in Balochistan.
