Islamabad, M.Saleem jutt – Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has called for further strengthening of relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during a farewell meeting with outgoing Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi at the presidential palace.
The president underscored the importance Islamabad attaches to its “long-standing brotherly ties” with Abu Dhabi and expressed gratitude for the UAE’s consistent support to Pakistan in times of difficulty.
Zardari praised the ambassador’s diplomatic services and congratulated him on the successful completion of his tenure in Pakistan.
