Sargodha,– Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has urged the Punjab provincial government to move beyond “photo sessions” and take emergency measures to support flood-affected communities.
The PTI leader visited the flood-hit districts of Sargodha, Chiniot, and Hafizabad, where he met with local residents and assessed the scale of damage. Speaking at a press conference in Sargodha alongside party colleagues, Barrister Gohar stressed the need for a comprehensive disaster management plan to respond effectively to natural calamities.
He called on political parties to put aside differences and work together to provide immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation for victims. “At this moment, unity and practical steps are more important than political point-scoring,” he said.
