Beijing, Pakistan’s President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Asif Ali Zardari, visited the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) aircraft complex where J-10C fighter jets are produced.
According to the official statement, President Zardari received a detailed briefing on the J-10, JF-17, J-20 stealth fighters, drones, autonomous systems, and multi-domain operations. He also met with Chinese scientists and engineers.
The president noted that the J-10 and JF-17 jets had strengthened Pakistan’s air force, adding that their performance was remarkable during the Battle of Haq in May 2025 and Operation Banyan Marsous. He described AVIC as a symbol of China’s advanced technology and the Pakistan-China strategic partnership.
The statement further emphasized Pakistan’s determination to expand cooperation with China in defense production and aviation. President Zardari is the first foreign head of state to visit this complex.
He was accompanied by Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Pakistan’s Ambassador Khalil Hashmi, and Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong.
