The Ambassador of Indonesia to Pakistan, Lt. Gen. (retired) Chandra Warsi Nyanto Sukotjo, met Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar in Lahore on Monday to discuss strengthening security and training cooperation between the two forces.
The Indonesian delegation was briefed on Punjab Police reforms, including technology-driven initiatives, counter-terrorism operations, and community service projects such as Safe Cities, women’s virtual police stations, and child protection centers. Both sides agreed to exchange delegations for training and capacity building.
The ambassador praised Punjab Police’s role in counter-terrorism and public service initiatives. Souvenirs were exchanged at the conclusion of the visit, which also included a tour of the Police Museum and memorial sites.
