Islamabad – Foreign ministers of 16 countries, including Pakistan, have issued a joint warning to Israel over potential attacks on the Global Freedom Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza.
The statement was signed by the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Ireland, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Oman, Qatar, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, and Türkiye.
The joint declaration emphasized that any attack on ships in international waters or unlawful detention of passengers would constitute a violation of international law and would be subject to accountability.
The flotilla, supported by international activists, is preparing to deliver essential aid to besieged Gaza, raising concerns of possible confrontation with Israeli naval forces.
