Islamabad – The Pakistan Ulema Council has announced that Friday will be observed as a “Day of Gratitude and Prayer” following the signing of the landmark defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Council Chairman Allama Tahir Ashrafi praised Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Pakistan’s military leadership, calling the pact a historic step.
He further stated that Pakistan’s armed forces are honored with the responsibility of defending the land of the Two Holy Mosques, underscoring the deep religious and strategic ties between Islamabad and Riyadh.
